The Tony Cardarelle Memorial Library
The guild library has a wide assortment of books, DVDs and magazines on many fiber-related topics. In addition, we have a drum carder, a spinning wheel, a wool picker, a rigid heddle loom, and an inkle loom. Members may borrow items by requesting that they be brought to the next in-person meeting or by arranging a rendezvous with the librarian. Items may be checked out for one month, and may be renewed for additional time if the item has not been requested by another member. All materials are due back on the due date stamped in the item's cover or container. During the Spindle and Flyers summer hiatus, please request anything you'd like to check out, and the librarian will contact you as to how best get the item to you during the time we are not having meetings.
We have SpinOff, Handwoven, and Ply magazines in digital format from 2000 through 2024. We have indexes for Spin Off and Hadwoven that span more years than our guild has been a subscriber, but is still very helpful in finding articles you may want to read. Ply magazine index is available on their site. Currently we have only hard copies of Ply magazine, but soon we will have digital copies of our Ply magazines as well. Finally, we have some issues of The Spinning Wheel Sleuth.
