Spindles & Flyers Spinning Guild is a local group for people who share a commonality of spinning yarn, but we also weave, knit, crochet, felt, tat, sprang, make baskets, dye, learn, teach, share, and love all types of textiles and textile arts.
We welcome interested people to our monthly meetings, September through June, usually on the fourth Sunday of the month.

St Fleecia Celebration
Location in newsletter
The December 7th meeting theme is “Celebration!” The location is in the November newsletter. Please bring a potluck item and your handmade or other items you consider to fit the theme to celebrate our 70th anniversary. This can be your entry to our yearly fun contest! Part of the fun is making up the story that ties your entry to our theme—there will be prizes!
After the special reading of the Legend of St. Fleecia and a toast with eggnog, there is the optional Gift Exchange. If you'd like to participate, bring a fiber related item (such as an item you have made, spun, or bought like a book, cup or skein) that is $20 or less.
If you need a ride from BART or would like to carpool, please contact Kathy or Lisa to make arrangements.
Please note that this is a special meeting with no business portion, and this event is in person only.
